Quickstop Firestop Products is proud to introduce Quickwrap™ Duct Insulation to the Canadian market. Quickwrap™ is a new, unique method for protecting commercial kitchen grease ducts and ventilation air ducting.

Quickwrap™ Duct Wrap is more than just high temperature insulation. It is a high temperature blanket specifically designed to provide a system rating around kitchen exhaust (grease) ducts and a 1 & 2 hour rating for ventilation air ducts. This flexible, fire protection wrap meets the requirements defined by Underwriters Laboratories of Canada and the National Fire Protection Associations (NFPA 96), and is an alternate method of providing fire protection in lieu of constructing a traditional shaftwall enclosure around ducts.

Quickwrap™ Duct Insulation incorporates a bio-soluble fiber as its core material for high temperature stability, low thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance and lightweight, superior corrosion resistance. The Quickwrap™ blanket is completely encapsulated in a foil, fiberglass reinforced scrim. This flame-resistant scrim has been specifically designed to survive both the rigors of installation and to provide enhanced weather and water resistance. In addition, this durable scrim minimizes the risk of grease absorption into the insulation blanket which can degrade the level of fire protection provided by the system.
